VMware: The operation is not allowed in the current connection state of the host

Something when I try to power up the VM or migrate a VM to a different datastore it appear the following error. Check the ESXi host CPU/memory status, it could be nothing

The operation is not allowed in the current connection state of the host

After I google and perform some testing, there are few methods we can try to work things out.

1) After disconnecting the ESXi host from vCenter and reconnect the host

2) Login to ESXi host instead of vcenter, to power up the VM

3) Restart the vcenter service

    Thanks for your help. Login into the host instead of the vCenter server allowed me to start my vm.
